In the main competition, where the Fethi Kayaalp Award is given as the grand prize, the Madam Melpo Award and the Third Prize are also given. The only limitation in the main competition, in which a total of 15 documentaries, 2 of which are from Turkey, compete this year, is the expectation that they are based on ecology, as in all other categories. Along with the prizes of 10.000 TL, 7.500 TL and 5.000 TL, the winners are given festival statuettes designed by a different designer every year. The theme of the festival statuettes undertaken by Ülker Aral this year will be forest fires, which have affected the whole world this year.
