Synopsis: In the last century, the Greek community of Istanbul had to leave their roots and the city where they were born. Some of them were deported with a luggage of 20 kilograms. Some of them wanted to leave since they had no one around anymore. They still had hope for their new lives while leaving their historical roots and the lives that they were used to. However, in Athens things did not turn out the way they had hoped. There was only one way for salvation: The Kosmeteio Foundation. And they took shelter in that haven.
