Curator and program director of the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF).
After completing her education in Media and Cultural Studies, she began her career in program directing by working at student film festivals. She specialized in screening models which span different space and communities and combine in person and online screenings. Today, where human activity has become definitive on the planet, she is interested in narratives that explore the relationships people form with each other and their environment, where social and ecological issues intercept.
Her work in the field of ecological storytelling was featured in Sanctuary Cub, which is the children focused nature magazine published by India's well established magazine Sanctuary Asia. She participated in the Roundtable Discussion on Co-Curators of Global Ecofeminist Cinema, organized by the Shanghai based collective working on the documentary film field, Jilu Commune.
She continues her researches on how film festivals can bring different communities together and inspire dialogue, and how they can connect urgent, underrepresented stories within the areas of ecology, gender, migration, caste, livelihoods and social justice with broader audiences.
