The films, awards and people of BIFED 2023 come together again in the festival’s collective memory.202212–16 October 2022 · BOZCAADAThe ninth BIFED took place in Bozcaada under the theme “Green Peace and Justice.” It brought together films selected from more than 1,000 submissions, alongside talks and workshops.202113–19 October 2021 · online · BOZCAADAThe eighth BIFED, held under the theme “Our House Is on Fire,” offered free online screenings. More than 1,000 submissions from 100 countries were presented across four programme sections.20202–8 November 2020 · online · BOZCAADAThe seventh BIFED took place online during the pandemic. It brought more than 500 submissions from 75 countries to audiences through film screenings and online gatherings.
