Synopsis:
The film is about a village located along Tigris River. The village is on the verge of disappearing from the face of the earth and losing its cultural heritage due to Ilisu Dam to be built in Hasankeyf. Ali and his friends are guides showing the tourists the beauties of a natural wonder named Hasankeyf.
Director Biography:
He was born in Mardin, in 1990. He participated in various national and international social responsibility projects with Mardin Youth and Culture House of which he has been a member since 1999. He was one of the co-founders of Foundation for Community Volunteers in Mardin. He is still a trainer in democracy and our rights issues at TOG. He was an actor in Stories Without Figures created by the Youth House for three years. He took part in the directing crew of Derviş Zaim’s movie, The Fish. He is currently attending the scriptwriting classes of Derviş Zaim.
