Synopsis: 4 months with flocks on mountain pastures of the Famouras Pass in the Alpes de Haute Provence in South of France. Altitude 2000 meters. A shepherd couple and their one year old child. 2000 sheeps, 9 sheepdogs and a cat. In an area counting an estimated 100 wolves. A movie camera and 2 cell phones, also used by the shepherd themselves to film their everyday life.
Biography: Amanda Robles graduated from the ESAV (Ecole Supérieure d’Audiovisuel de Toulouse) in film direction. Her PHD thesis on Alain Cavalier led to the publication of her book Alain Cavalier, filmeur (De L’Incidence, 2011 et 2014). Works in film direction and teaching and on the editorial board of Bref, la revue du court-métrage (on shorts film) and CICLIC (Centre pour le livre, l’image et la culture numérique de la Région Centre). She’s working now on the new web-doc audiostories.fr
