Synopsis: “The system is all the time inventing things that we don’t need. You work 10 hours per day to buy things that you don’t need? It’s incredible.”
– Danna Arabahiana
“Galumphing” is a portrait of an Argentinian artist, who rejects to live according to the System. Danna escaped into nature. For over 10 years she has been living alone in a remote place of Brazil far away from civilization. She has her own world and the emotions that are inside her; she expresses them on canvas. What made her take this radical step? How does she cope with life there all alone? What does she miss?
Director: Kamila Józefowicz, who is a film director, director of photography and editor of short features and documentaries, was born in Poland.
