Synopsis: “Path of Tears” is a documentary focusing on the environmentally destructive projects that take place in Black Sea region such as the Green Road project, hydroelectric power plants, Black Sea coastal highway, mines, and Cerattepe; and the effects of these projects on the local people, culture, ecology, nature, and life. Biography: Engin Türkyılmaz was born in Istanbul, in 1992. He attended theater courses during his primary and secondary education. He started his college education in Istanbul University, Department of Economics in 2010; however, he left the department in his third year and began to study in Ege University’s Faculty of Communication. During these years, he wrote in several magazines and newspapers and worked as an editor. His short films have won various awards in national and international festivals. He would like to create a cinema and literature site where he will be able to tell about himself, his experiences and his dreams.
