In the main competition, where the Fethi Kayaalp Award is given as the grand prize, the Madam Melpo Award is also given. The only limitation in the main competition, in which a total of 14 documentaries, 2 of which are from Turkey, compete this year, is the expectation that they are based on ecology, as in all other categories. Along with the prizes of 15.000 TL and 10.00 TL, the winners are given festival statuettes designed by a different designer every year.
