In the main competition where the Fethi Kayaalp Award is given as the grand prize, the Madam Melpo Award is also given as the second prize. The only limitation in the main competition, where a total of 13 documentaries competed this year, 2 of which were from Turkey, is that they are ecology-based, as in all other categories. Along with prizes worth 15,000 TL and 10,000 TL, the winners are given festival awards designed by a different designer every year.
